Condé Nast Traveler had some very kind words about our little beach community recently, extolling Manhattan Beach's ever improving reputation as a hot destination for wrold class dining, shopping, and the ultimate representation of California beach life. From the article:

"It's not as famous as Venice or Santa Monica Beaches, but that's what makes Manhattan Beach even cooler. Plus, it's home to some of L.A.'s best restaurants, shops, and bars.

Just a few miles from Venice and Santa Monica, the lesser-known and (until recently) arguably lesser-loved Manhattan Beach is a cool, lower-key departure from its crowded, kinetic neighbors. Rarely overwhelming but always lively, this surf town’s burgeoning downtown scene offers some of the best new restaurants in L.A.
