Situated next to the historic LA Farmer’s Market in the stylish Fairfax district, The Grove is a feast for the senses with delicious food, great shopping and plenty of celebrity sightings.
The Grove is designed around a large, beautiful fountain that displays choreographed water shows, every hour on the hour. And after the water show, you can head to Nordstrom, Michael Kors, Anthropologie, Barneys New York, Kiehl's, the two-story Gap or many of the other great stores The Grove has to offer.
For the kids, head immediately to American Girl Place, a massive store filled with dolls, accessories, books and fun gifts. And there’s a three-story Barnes and Noble that holds The Grove Kid’s Club every Thursday from 11am-1pm with music, entertainment, and activities for the whole family.
After some serious shopping, it’s time to eat at one of the many great Grove restaurants. There are old favorites like Maggiano's Little Italy and The Cheesecake Factory as well as local LA restaurants like Wood Ranch BBQ and Grill and Morels French Steakhouse. And The Original Farmers Market, right next The Grove, features tons of food booths, restaurants, and diners.
Be sure to check out The Pacific Theaters at the Grove after dinner, a multiplex movie theater, where Chris Rock is often seen enjoying a movie on a Sunday afternoon. And you’re in for a treat if you visit The Grove during the holidays. Fake snow appears throughout the night and they put up the Grove Christmas tree in mid-November. At 110 feet, the big beautiful tree is the tallest Christmas tree in the city of Los Angeles.
