The Rose Bowl is the "granddaddy of them all" and the Huskies from the University of Washington in Seattle will play against the Ohio State Buckeyes from Columbus on January 1. Ohio State is ranked #6 in the NCAAF ratings while the UW Huskies are #9. The University of Washington is the top team in the Pacific Coast Conference (PAC 12) while Ohio State tops the Big Ten Conference.
The PAC team was always the host playing against a Big Ten team from 1947 until the college football playoff system changed the rules in 2002. Both universities have played in the Rose Bowl in previous years. The 2019 game is sure to please once again.
