Lions, and tigers, and bears, oh my!
If you would like to see these animals and more, then spend a few fun-filled hours at the Los Angeles Zoo and Botanical Gardens.
It spans 113 acres and offers much to see and do including:

Animals and You Program - The Animals and You Program allows guests to get up-close with a variety of animals. They include African Desert Hedgehogs, Cayuga Ducks, San Diego Gophers, Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches, and Inland Bearded Dragons.
Muriel's Ranch - Muriel's Ranch is where kids and adults alike can get to know Nigerian Goats. They reach approximately two feet, and adults weigh between 20 and 50 pounds. Brushes are available for visitors to groom these adorable animals.
World of Birds - The Angela Collier World of Birds Theater contains a two-story stage that's used to demonstrate each bird's natural behavior. During the show, you'll see several species such as owls, eagles, macaws, vultures, and hawks. One of the highlights is when Phoenix the Harris hawk flies off a hill and through a turret at a fast speed before landing on a trainer's glove.
