Manhattan Beach Community Church Music & Theater. From seasonal plays and a speaker series featuring guests from all walks of life to youth theater and choir music, the MBCC's active performing arts productions encompass a wide range of quality entertainment and interests for all ages. Such plays as Dracula and Mark Twain's Big River have been enjoyed by audiences at MBCC.
If you love comedy, or just need some laughs, check out the shows at The Groundlings Theater and School. The Groundlings was founded in 1972 to be (as its name says) a school for aspiring performers and a training ground for improvisational comedy. Its veterans include Will Ferrell, Kristen Wiig, Conan O’Brien, and Kathy Griffith, as well as many performers that went on to Saturday Night Live and Mad TV.
Whether you are looking for a few hours of shopping, an IMAX movie, or a night out dancing with friends, Universal CityWalk has you covered. Located just a few miles from Hollywood at one of L.A.'s top theme parks, Universal CityWalk is an attraction all its own, offering restaurants, shops, and entertainment for the entire family.
